Last updated April 2026. We'll keep this honest. London Lash is a big brand with genuinely good products. We're different in specific ways that will matter to some techs and not to others.
Quick answer
If you want a pro-tier European lash brand with a strong glue range and extensive product variety, London Lash delivers. They're well-known, well-stocked and respected in the industry.
If you want a UK-first brand at a slightly lower price point, a founder who answers her own DMs, a dedicated Coffee Collection brown range, and a community that isn't just a logo on a box, Pop of Beauty is the switch.
Keep reading for the detail.
Who are London Lash?
London Lash is a European lash supply brand with warehouses in several countries including the UK. They sell a very large range of trays, glues, tools, training and aftercare. They're positioned at the mid-premium end of the market and their glue range is one of the most extensive you'll find.
They're a solid choice. They're also big, which means the brand feels more corporate than personal. You don't know who the founder is without digging.
Who are Pop of Beauty?
We're a UK-based lash supply brand founded by Poppy, a working lash tech. Every product we sell is something Poppy uses in her own studio on her own clients. The range is tighter than London Lash's (we don't try to stock everything), but what we do stock is the stuff she actually uses and rates.
We ship from the UK next working day. Poppy answers DMs personally on @popofbeauty_. Read the full story here.

Where London Lash wins
👉 Range. If you want obscure curl types, every thickness under the sun, specialist tweezer shapes you've only seen on Instagram, London Lash has it. We don't try to match this. We carry what Poppy actually uses.
👉 In-person training. If you want a physical academy experience in the UK, they run one. Our training is online.
👉 Brand recognition. They've been at it longer at scale. If "I learned with London Lash" is on a CV, clients probably recognise the name.
Where Pop of Beauty wins
👉 Price on the essentials. Our glue is £5-6 cheaper per bottle than London Lash's premium equivalent, before you apply any discount. Over a year at 2 bottles a month, that's £120-140 saved. Subscribe & Save adds another ~£30 on top.
👉 Coffee Collection. Our three brown shades (Latte, Mocha, Espresso) are formulated specifically so the fibre reads brown in natural daylight, not orange or washed-out. London Lash's brown options are limited. If you have blonde and brunette clients, this is the single biggest differentiator. Read the Coffee Collection guide.
👉 Founder-led DMs. When you message @popofbeauty_, you're talking to Poppy, not a team of four. If your glue is behaving oddly, she'll troubleshoot with you personally.
👉 Subscribe & Save on glue. London Lash does not offer a subscription discount. Our busy volume techs save £200+ a year by subscribing.
👉 Tighter, more confident range. We don't sell 40 versions of glue. We sell one and we've refined it across 13 formula iterations. Less decision fatigue for you.
👉 UK-first, not Euro-wide. Our tape, primer and aftercare are dialled for the UK humidity and temperature profile, not a Central European average. Small thing, matters for retention.
Who should stay with London Lash
If you genuinely use the breadth of their range (weird curl combinations, specialist thicknesses, obscure tools), don't switch. You'll lose access to gear you rely on.
If you've already done an in-person London Lash course and want to continue in that ecosystem, the loyalty makes sense.
If price isn't a consideration for you at all, and brand prestige matters, their name carries weight.
Who should switch to Pop of Beauty
👉 You're a UK tech who mostly uses D curl + 0.03 Russian trays. Our range covers 85% of what the working UK tech needs at a better price.
👉 You want to offer brown lashes as an upcharge service. Our Coffee Collection is category-defining for UK brown lash work.
👉 You want a supplier you can actually talk to, whose founder you've seen on Instagram. We're that.
👉 You're sick of re-ordering every 3-4 weeks. Subscribe & Save on the Full POP Restock Bundle handles it.
The honest downside of switching
The first set on a new glue is always 5-10% different from what you're used to. Dry time, humidity interaction, viscosity, all slightly different. By set 3-4 you'll have it dialled. Plan your switch for a week where you've got a couple of regular clients, not a bride.
We've written the full switch guide: How to switch lash supplier without losing retention.
How to test us without risk
Use SWITCH20 at checkout on the Switch Kit. You'll get trial-size glue, two D Curl trays, our Primer and our Superbonder at 20% off. Run it on 3-5 clients. If the retention holds, you've found your new supplier. If it doesn't, we'll refund within 30 days.
FAQs
Is your glue as good as London Lash's premium range?
On retention profile, yes, the feedback from techs who've switched confirms it. On dry time, ours is 0.5-1 second, which sits in the sweet spot for both new and volume techs. London Lash has multiple glue SKUs with different dry times, so there's more choice with them.
Do you have an L curl, M curl or LD curl?
We carry the curls Poppy uses most often on UK clients. Check the product pages for current curls in stock. If there's a curl you need and we don't have it, DM us.
Are your tools as extensive as London Lash's tool range?
No. We sell a tighter range of tools. If you're a tool collector, London Lash has the broader menu.
Do you have a training academy?
Online accredited training, yes. No physical UK academy at the moment.
Final word
London Lash is a good brand. We're a different kind of brand. Smaller, UK-first, founder-led, tighter range, better-priced on the essentials, dominant on brown lashes.
If that sounds like what you're looking for, DM Poppy on @popofbeauty_ before ordering. She'll help you work out whether we're the right fit or whether you should stay put.
It'll never be perfect. But it can be better.
